The Missing person registry is an online bulletin board of missing and found people. It captures information about the people missing and found, as well as information of the person seeking them, increasing the chances of people finding each other. For example if two members of the a family unit is looking for the head of the family, we can use this data at least to connect those two family members.

1. Reporting Person 1 reports a missing person ( Eg: His relative )
2. Another person ( Reporting person 2) is looking for a missing person and reports that missing person's details to Sahana.
3. Person who was reported by Reporting person 2 is the person who is required to meet by Reporting person 1. Through the Sahana Reporting person 1 will come to know that the person(missing already) he is looking for was found by Reporting person 2. So at least Reporting person 1 and 2 can meet up.

• Search for a person
• Report a missing person
• Edit a missing person
• Report a found person
• List missing people
• List found people

In Search Person window user can search for a person that has been reported as a Missing person or as a Found person.

To search a person , Give

• Number of any card ( Eg: Identity card number, Passport number or Driving license number )
• Any part of person's name ( Eg: First name, Family Name, Nick name )

Select All Incidents, If you want to search a person in all the incidents covered by Sahana installation.

Then Click Search

You will get list of all Missing and Found persons details that match with your search criteria.

• Associated People

Shows the person who reported about missing or found person. If there are more peoples interested about a particular person you can add that person as an associated person by “Associate another person” link.

• Missing Details

Shows missing details about a particular person.

• Actions

Shows current status of a particular person. ( Eg: Missing, Alive, Injured ). If you found a missing person is found click on 'Click to Change found' to change the status to Found. Also you can assign same person to another incident by following link “Assign to More incidents”.

By Report a missing person page it is possible to Report about a missing person to Sahana MPR. But before adding a person to Missing Person Registry please check whether that person already listed in MPR by using search function provided by Sahana MPR.

To Report a Missing Person, input all details available about missing person in relevant fields ( Only full name is compulsory ). Also it is possible to upload a photograph of missing person, that will more easy to identify a person. After filling information about missing person, Click Next.

In next window Sahana will ask for information about reporting person. due to

• Inform back on finding the missing person
• In a situation where the person who is reporting also a victim of the disaster. The details given here would help to associate he/she with his/her relatives.

If reporting person does not reported any person to Sahana MPR before, Set “Have you reported anyone?” to No then fill all the information available about reporting person in relevant fields. Then Click next.

If reporting person already reported a person to Sahana MPR before, Set “Have you reported anyone?” to Yes then input the name of the reporting person and relationship to missing person in relevant fields. Then click next. Then Sahana will show a list of names that matches with name given as reporting person. Select the correct reporting person by clicking link “Select”. Repeat from begin to Report another missing person.

In Edit missing person page, user can update information about a person entered previously to database. In that window first, user have to find the person that information need to update. To perform this input any identification number or any part of name in relevant fields, also select “All Incidents” if you need to search in all incidents. Then click Search. Then list of matching person will show. This step is same as Search for a person.

If you need to update details of missing person, Click on the name of the person. Then Sahana will show a form filled with previously entered data. Change relevant fields if required, also it is possible to upload new photograph for that person. After changing fields click Next to apply changes. In next window Sahana will show list of persons that seeking for that person (Trackers). If you do not need to change anything here just click Next. If you need to remove a tracker, click link “Remove Tracker”.

If you need to add new tracker click link “Add a Tracker”. Then you will get a window to enter information about new tracker. If new tracker does not reported any person to Sahana MPR before, Set “Have you reported anyone?” to No then fill all the information available about reporting person in relevant fields. Then Click next.

If new tracker already reported a person to Sahana MPR before, Set “Have you reported anyone?” to Yes then input the name of the reporting person and relationship to missing person in relevant fields. Then click next. Then Sahana will show a list of names that matches with name given as reporting person. Select the correct tracker by clicking link “Select”.

To view details about a tracker click on tracker's name. Syatem will show a window with a summery of that tracker. To edit details of that tracker click link “Click to edit”. Then edit information about that tracker ( same as edit a missing person ). Then click next.

After applying changes to trackers ( if required ), click next and Sahana will show summery page with new information and will ask for confirmation to apply these changes. To apply changes click next.

Using Report a found person feature it is possible to add displaced person that found later. Steps need to perform a “Report a found person” is similar to “Report a missing person”.

In List Missing People feature, Sahana will list all missing people listed in Missing Person Registry.

To edit a Missing person entry click on a person's name and system will show Edit Missing Person Page, and steps required to follow is same as Edit Missing Person described earlier.

To assign a missing person to another incident click on “Assign to More Incidents” and select another another incident and click Add.

In List Found People Sahana will list all the found people listed in database with their photographs. Functionality of List Found Person is same as List Missing Person except it lists Found peoples.

Also it is possible to Edit Found persons enrty and assign same person to different incidents using list found people window. Steps required to perform these activities are same as List Missing Person described above.
